Allison Akre
Inside Sales

Allison stays busy remodeling her 1950's bungalow and mows her yard more than anyone on the block. When you call her at TRC you'll be able to tell that she loves all the people at her "home away from home." She says that the best part of her job is that we all laugh a lot around here.

Kevin Anderson
Warehouse Manager

Kevin manages the Little Canada warehouse, a busy job that keeps him busy, but helps the time fly. Kevin drives an American motorcycle, likes shooting sports and wishes more people loved the Constitution as much as he does.

Jim Baham
Journeyman Electrician

Working in different settings and meeting new customers is Jim's favorite thing about working at TRC. He is a single dad who enjoys being involved in Cub Scouts with his son, camping and riding his bicycle.

Matt Bartz
Apprentice Electrician

Matt has a big family and likes to hunt, fish and snowmobile in his free time. He started at TRC in 2010 and says he thinks the best part of his job is the people he works with.

Paula Benjaminson
Receptionist

Paula is the voice of TRC and most likely the person you talk to first when you call us! Just talking to her, you can tell she loves to laugh, but you might not know she also loves to sing and is addicted to facebook.

Jon Bergquist
Director of Operations

Jon spends his free time enjoying his classic car and researching his family history. He's even traced most of his heritage back almost 250 years. He says that the best part of his job as Operations Director is the variety, challenge of installations and the chance to be an innovative thinker.

Brad Betterman
Journeyman/Master Electrician

Brad says the best part of his job is the fact that something new is always going on. Outside of work, you can find him bowling, fishing and spending time with his two kids.

Holly Caudillo
AP/AR, HR

Holly wears a lot of hats at TRC; HR, A/R, A/P…that's a lot of acronyms! She has four daughters, but you won't find her driving a mini-van and she recently purchased a mini-van! Ask her for the recipe to her awesome applecrisp.

Joe Clark
Apprentice Electrician

Joe lives in Howard Lake and has been with TRC since 2002. He says that working in different locations and environments keeps his job interesting. When he's got time off, Joe likes golfing and fishing at the cabin.

Darcie DeFoe
Marketing Coordinator

Darcie's mom says that time flies when you're having fun. Her job at TRC is a testament to that. When she's done making brochures or hearing stories from happy TRC clients, you will find her listening to loud music, working on design projects or gazing at a bonfire in the backyard.

Erik Determan
Apprentice Electrician

Erik, known as "MacGyver" by his college friends, likes to dabble in most outdoor activities and contests that the Beagle is a lazy breed of dog. At least, his is lazy.

Nick Dryden
Environmental Specialist

Nick used to be a wildland firefighter, but at TRC he's still working to preserve the environment by helping customers safely dispose of their hazardous wastes. He likes to combine his hobbies of canoeing and wood working by making canoe paddles by hand.

Wendy Fry
VP Sales & Marketing

Wendy, our VP of Sales and Marketing says the best thing about her job is "knowing that the end result of everything we do here is solving our customer's issues." She's creative like that, and when she's got free time (outside of being a VP and mom to three kiddos!) she channels that creativity in to what she calls grandma crafts and cooking giant, detailed meals.

Kevin Gabbert
Apprentice Electrician

Kevin likes working in a lot of different places and seeing new things as a part of his job at TRC. He lives in Hastings with his girlfriend and two cats, and likes camping and visiting his family in Redwing as much as possible.

Ken Gleason
Lighting Consultant

Ken loves meeting new people, but claims he is extremely shy. Before he came to work with us in 2007 he was in a day time soap opera and traveled with the Ringling Brothers Circus…or so he says.

Jeff Glynn
Driver

Jeff is another recycling driver who has been on the TRC team for more than 15 years. He says the best part of his job is getting to be outside, meet new people and see the countryside. Jeff spends free time with his family and enjoying sports and outdoor activities.

Michelle Gwin
Inside Sales

Michelle has been in sales for 12 years enjoys the outdoors, but not in the winter. She likes her customers all the time and says they are the best part of her job.

Dan Harrington
VP Operations

Dan says the people and laughs at TRC are undeniably the greatest part of his job as VP of Operations. He also runs a 400 acre hobby farm in rural Wisconsin, where he lives with his wife and four kids.

Chris Jackson
Apprentice Electrician

Chris has been married for three years and spent time serving in the Army. He says the best part of his job at TRC is working with so many different people, and that he may never get a "free vacation to Afghanistan" working here.

Steve Jacobs
Environmental Specialist

Steve says that every day in Environmental Services at TRC seems to offer a new set of opportunities to learn and grow. He lives on a hobby farm in rural Wisconsin, is raising three Boy Scouts and likes to enjoy the little amount of quiet time he has with his wonderful wife of 16 years and a cold beer.

Jack Jenson
Lighting Consultant

Jack has been in the energy-efficiency business for nearly 20 years and says the diversity of his job still keeps things interesting enough to like coming to work every day! Fun fact: Jack's twin sister is named Jill. They were born on President's day and were nearly named "George and Martha."

Gary Johnson
Journeyman Electrician

Gary is a knowledgeable Journeyman Electrician and has been with TRC since 1994. He's got six grown children and life on a hobby farm with horses, alpacas, chickens, turkeys, ducks, dogs and cats!

Jeff Kath
Lighting Consultant

Jeff looks forward to the end of every sale and being able to truly see how a lighting project has saved customers money and made their facility into a better work environment. He grows a ton of vegetables in his garden every year, and has been a licensed auctioneer for almost 30 years!

Steve Kath
President

Steve is TRC's President and says he is thankful for the opportunity to work with a great group of employees, to be involved with many different organizations and to be able to give back for all of the blessings he has received. Steve has coached fast pitch softball for more than 40 years, and when he's not spending time with his family, you can find him driving a recently restored 1956 Buick that he waited only 50 years to enjoy.

Zane Kramer
Sales Support

Zane, an all star on the Sales Support team, was born in Latvia and moved to the US after graduating from college. Her free time is spent reading, cooking, being with her family or watching movies in one of her three fluent languages!

Eric Kyllo
CFO

Eric is a busy guy who keeps our train on track as the VP of Finance. He has enjoyed seeing the growth and improvements of TRC since he started here in 1992. Fun fact: Eric has peacocks on his cattle farm!

Justin Laney
Lighting Consultant

Justin is a member of the TRC sales team who has also served in the MN Air National Guard since 1992. He likes golfing and most other outdoor activities. He says wrangling his toddler son keeps things interesting for him and his wife.

Brian Lee
Estimator

Brian says that the greatest things about his job are the people he works with; customers and co-workers. He likes fishing, track racing, making his coworkers smile by sending funny replies to our e-mails and spending time in Northern Minnesota.

Mark Leonard
Apprentice Electrician

Mark likes working with his knowledgeable co-workers, and that makes him a good team player. He also likes cats more than dogs and enjoys fishing, but not eating fish.

Adam Lundahl
Demolition Team

Adam likes to attend sporting events with his son, and hanging with his friends. You might see him on some of TRC's demolition jobs, taking hazardous materials out of buildings before they're wrecked.

Bud Madden
Driver

Bud is a natural on the road; he spends his free time building trucks and motorcycles. He's got over 10 safe years with TRC and still likes driving truck and meeting new people on the job.

Marie Magadan
Logistics

Marie is "mom" to twin boys who keep her very busy and that translates to her work in the office - always going, going, going! She likes assisting TRC customers and knowing that her job is doing good things for the environment.

Rhonda Michaletz
Sales Support

Rhonda is another member of our all star Sales Support staff and has held the 1st place record at Wilson Elementary School for the 100 meter dash since she was in 5th grade. She lives in Owatonna with her husband, has three sons, a tiny dog and prefers not to fly, even if her trusted husband or youngest son are piloting the flight.

Brad Monson
Lighting Consultant

Brad is happy to be part of what he calls "the most knowledgeable people in the industry." He says we haven't let it go to our heads and that we are still very approachable. When he's not flattering co-workers and saving energy for customers, you can find him laughing with his wife and two daughters or golfing. Brad also grows and sells pumpkins and gourds, so call him in the fall!

John Morgan
Journeyman Electrician

John lives in Burnsville with his family, but grew up in a small town in southern MN. They love camping, hiking and biking. He says he's a diehard Vikings fan, but we'll see how he feels after the 2010 season.

Chris Nelson
Purchasing & Supply Manager

At the end of a project, Chris thinks it's great to see our customer's amazed reaction at the difference better lighting can make. Outside of his day job, he is also a volunteer fireman in Albert Lea and a sports-loving, avid outdoorsman!

Kerry Nygren
Driver

Kerry travels the Midwest as a recycling driver at TRC and works hard to keep customers happy and informed. You'll know him by the name on his shirt, so be sure to say "hello" when you see him on your loading dock.

Tomas Ramirez-Barajas
Warehouse & Demolition Team

Tomas works in our Little Canada warehouse, and looks forward to also working on demolition projects. In his free time he plays baseball, and the acoustic guitar.

Wes Ruedy
Journeyman Electrician

Wes is a self-proclaimed family man, with a lovely wife and three kids. He loves hunting, fishing and camping with this family. He says TRC is a great place to work because of his coworkers and bosses, and the new work trucks this year didn't hurt either.

Craig Scheffler
Apprentice Electrician

You can find Craig outside fishing, hunting or on his farm, when he's not on the job at TRC. He most likes working with all of the different people he meets on the job, and keeps things fun by joking around.

Dave says, "the people, the environment and the many places that we go all attribute to the fact that I love to get up every morning and look forward to going to work no matter what." We think his sunny disposition is thanks to that relaxing time spent in his garden.

Ben Schneider
Journeyman Electrician

Ben grew up in Indiana, lives in Minnesota now and loves being able to see the country as a result of his job at TRC. He also loves the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, but attests he's also "a big fan of American History."

Pete has yet to complete that tri-athalon he's been meaning to do for the last couple of years, but with his time spent as both an installing electrician for TRC and as a member of the Lighting Consultant sales team he is uniquely qualified on the job.

Nate Stroud
Apprentice Electrician

Nate thinks he's probably seen every town in Minnesota and Iowa since starting at TRC in 1998 and says that's the great part of his job. When he's not sight seeing, Nate really likes reading or doing outdoor activities.

Brad lives in Owatonna with his wife, two kids and two dogs. He looks forward to the every day challenges of lighting and electrical work, but enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and all the Minnesota sports time when he's off the job.

Dan loves being an electrician and never considered another career, but he uses his collection of 3,000 cds as a DJ at his sound production company that he has operated for over ten years. Ask him if he has your favorite song in his catalog, but not until he's done wiring that fixture!

Chris is a Journeyman Electrician now on our sales team. He has a unique technical perspective on lighting, installation and efficiency. He claims he might also be the world's youngest Buick fanatic.

Marill Woodruff
Inside Sales

Marill has at least a hundred hobbies and has travelled to places, like Scotland, Curacao and almost every state in the U.S. She has a lot of energy, and is almost always smiling. Her lucky customers make her day by calling, she loves talking to all of you on the phone!

Shelly Zenner
Lighting Consultant

Shelly joined TRC's team in 2011 after spending 2 years in Botswana, Africa with the Peace Corps. She is happy to be helping improve the environment through her work at at TRC and now that she's home she enjoys spending time with her family and camping in the Boundary Waters...even in the winter.
